Public
agencies always have a need to communicate with their constituents.
Faubel Public Affairs specializes
in helping public agencies communicate with residents, businesses
and legislators to help build consensus,
receive feedback or inform people about special issues. Our services
range from such projects as producing
city newsletters to running public information campaigns.
El Toro Reuse Planning Authority
Since 1997, Faubel Public Affairs has managed the public relations
program for the El Toro Reuse Planning
Authority (ETRPA), a group of cities and other entities dedicated
to ensuring that an airport will not be built
at the former El Toro Marine Base. Our work for ETRPA has included
informing the public about the dangers
of an airport through direct mail pieces, advertisements, media
relations and public meetings. We also
handle government relations for ETRPA, keeping legislators apprised
of events and briefed on important
issues.
Transportation Corridor Agencies
Since early 2001, Faubel Public Affairs has assisted the Transportation
Corridor Agencies (TCA) in conducting
public outreach, gauging support gaining public input for the proposed
completion of the 241/Foothill-South
Toll Road in South Orange County. Faubel Public Affairs has created
numerous direct mail pieces and also
produces a quarterly newsletter that is sent to people who have
expressed an interest in TCA’s expansion
project. In addition, Faubel Public Affairs also conducts annual
polling to gauge any changes in public
opinion, allowing us to stay on top of public concerns and address
them appropriately.
County of Orange
Voter Education Outreach
When electronic voting machines were introduced in Orange County,
Faubel Public Affairs helped the County
educate residents about how to use the new machines.
Stormwater Program
Faubel Public Affairs currently serves as the public outreach firm
for the Orange County Stormwater
Program. We assist the County and all 34 cities in communicating
with residents and businesses about the
dangers of stormwater pollution and how they can help prevent it.
Outreach strategies include advertising
campaigns, newsletter articles and brochures.
